IT Technical Support مسقطمسقط Job Responsibilities:
· Respond to requests for technical assistance in person, over the phone, and electronically
· Provide basic troubleshooting for computer and mobile phone devices, both for hardware and software issues
· Install applications and updates as required
· Identify, diagnose, and resolve technical issues for users
· Diagnose and resolve end-user network or local printer problems and PC hardware problems
· Perform desktop hardware repair for PC computer equipment and peripherals that are not covered by third-party vendor maintenance agreements
· Log all helpdesk interactions and administer helpdesk software
· Install and configure employee PC, email, printer, smart phones, Antivirus, MS Office, portable devices, and other applications as per the user profile.
· Install and configure the IP Phones
· Maintain the time and attendance system and the access control system
· Create user email accounts and profiles and provide access for file sharing as requested
· Backup and restore files as requested
· Monitor day-to-day operation of computer networks and resolve any server or data problems as they arise
· Maintain local area network (LAN) user documentation, including hardware/software applications, support logs, and other related information
· Monitoring the security of data and access privileges across computer networks
· Control inventory for IT assets.
